Annual Report Updates

I completed the first draft of the 2012-2013 Annual Report. The document is now in the proofreading and feedback stage. Below is a preview of a few of the spreads from the report.



 

Strive @ GatorWell Logos

Earier in the semeser, I created the logos for STRIVE. Recently, I was asked to make another set of logos. This time, instead of saying "STRIVE to end interpersonal violence," these new logos needed to say "STRIVE at GatorWell." Here is the first set of new logos I created. I received feedback on them and will be making the changes soon. Updates will be posted along with a more detailed discussion about some of the feedback I received!

STRIVE in Print!

At last, the STRIVE Strategic Plan document was printed to be distributed with shareholders. Here are some images of the plan.

Newspaper Ads

I have also been working on designs for GatorWell ads for the Alligator and the Odyssey newspapers. Here are some images of them in print! I made ads in color and in black and white.

Modeling the Counseling and Wellness Center

As I was working on the Annual Report, I was looking through many examples for inspiration and ideas. I came across this example from behance http://www.behance.net/gallery/Intel-Foundation-25th-Anniversary-Infographics/12012739

 

From this example, I thought about drawing the Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) where GatorWell is currently located. It looks like this:

 

 

Using Illustrator, I made my own, vector version of the CWC to be used in the Annual Report I am developing for GatorWell for 2012-2013.

 



This is the finished product! I am going to incorporate it into my Annual Report document now.

Progress Update: GatorWell Annual Report

Here is some work in progress for the Annual Report document I am working on. Ideally, this will be completed and ready to print just before the Thanksgiving Break.

 

So far so good! Everyone likes it. I was waiting for approval before moving on with more pages, and now I can keep going in this direction!

 

GatorWell Animation

Finally, I have gotten a change to get this animation started. I designed the character a while ago, but having had the STRIVE Strategic Plan and other tasks to complete, the animation progress had to be delayed. Here is a sneak preview. I am using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects for this project. The end animation will be no more than two minutes in length when it is complete.

 

GatorWell Annual Report

Getting things going on the design for this year's Annual Report! Here is the cover I produced last week. Everyone at the office liked it, so this is the direction it will be headed. I had to find a way to incorporate their desire to have many photos throughout the report as well as keep the photos uniform. Drafts for the spreads and more updates are soon to come!

STRIVE Strategic Plan

After having designed the logo, I was assigned the task of designing the STRIVE Strategic Plan to be presented to the shareholders. This plan will be used from this year until 2016. It is finally in the finishing stages. I have been making minor changes here and there. Today, I did a printout in its full size for it to be looked over by another staff member who hasn't been looking at it this whole time. Below are the covers and one on the inside spreads.

 

This project was done using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. The vector images are all originals designed by me.

The Beginning of STRIVE Logos

I was asked to create a logo for STRIVE. It is a peer education group of students formed under GatorWell Health Promotion Services. It is meant to procide outreach, education, and advocacy intiatives related to interpersonal violence prevention. STRIVE works to, among other things, teach people about bystander internvention, increase awareness and recogntion, and help clear traditional beliefs and stereotypes related to sexual violence.

Alcohol Message

This message was made in order to encourage students to be more aware of their alcohol consumption. I designed ads for the RTS buses as well as the GOTCHA ride. This campaign was used in a previous year, but I redesigned it. Below are the images of the original design made by another graphic designer, my redesign, and the images on the buses and the GOTCHA.
